Roxbury
Remembered,
an
accounting of Roxbury history
by Frederick Ungeheuer
as told by Norman, Lewis and Ethel Hurlbut.
The
Hurlbut family has farmed in Roxbury since the early 1700s. The
history of the family and the town charts the early American experience
through settlement, strife, war and expansion, as well as the evolution
of farming.
The
book, which includes sketches and stories by Norman Hurlbut and
his collection of photographs, will be republished in the spring
of 2004 in a soft cover edition.
